The Gruppo Concorde’s Italian companies are all members of Confindustria Ceramica, an association that brings together most of the domestic companies in the sector. Our executives are involved in its commissions and representative bodies, investing time and energy to increase the prestige and value of the Italian ceramic industry throughout the world, benefiting not only the Gruppo Concorde but the entire industry.

The Gruppo Concorde is socially active with programs that provide tangible support to families and communities.
It has made numerous generous donations to hospitals, social-health facilities and associations working to combat economic and social hardship. Indeed, approx. €2 million in charitable donations were made by the Gruppo over the past three years, in addition to its substantial participation in the revitalization of Sassuolo’s Carani Theater.
Asilo Concorde
To support the families of its employees, the Gruppo Concorde launched the Asilo Concorde, an institute of educational excellence for children from 1 to 6 years old that’s also open to the local community, equipped with quality facilities and highly educated and professional teachers.

The Gruppo Concorde stands out for its efforts to get young people into the working world. In addition to collaborating with several universities and selecting the most promising young graduates for its companies around the world, the Gruppo has established a prestigious initiative aimed specifically at them.
Professor Cirillo Mussini scholarship
Scholarships dedicated to the memory of the late Professor Cirillo Mussini are awarded each year to a few brilliant university graduates in the region so they can undertake research projects within Gruppo companies.
Over the past three years, scholarships worth about €60,000 have been awarded in cooperation with the University of Modena.

Marca Corona Museum
To preserve the value of the local ceramic tradition, the Gruppo Concorde opened the “Marca Corona Gallery,” an elegant and innovative multimedia museum open to all public, which narrates the history of Sassuolo’s ceramic district through videos, explanations, and important historical pieces from Sassuolo’s ceramic factories.
The museum is housed on the premises of Marca Corona. Founded in Sassuolo in 1741, it’s the oldest majolica and ceramic factory in the district, owned by the Gruppo Concorde since 1982.
Marca Corona also manages a permanent exhibition of pottery and precious historical ceramics available to the public community, held at the Ducal Palace in Sassuolo. In the superb Este Palace, other initiatives are being defined to promote the region and the role that the ceramic industry has played in its economic, social, and cultural development.
One of the most significant initiatives supporting the region is the Carani Theater Foundation, promoted by the Gruppo Concorde for the recovery of the prestigious yet long-abandoned theater of the same name in Sassuolo.
The Foundation brought together a group of businesses and residents who committed themselves to purchase the historic theater, completely renovate it, equip it with the best available technology and donate it back to the community. Thanks to this initiative Sassuolo will once again have its theater, an essential cultural center in urban life.
